Booking.com to share their expertise at CLMVT Forum 2016

BANGKOK, 14 June 2016 - Mr. Oliver Hua, Asia Pacific Managing Director for Booking.com, has accepted an invitation from Ms. Apiradee Tantraporn, Thailand’s Minister of Commerce, to speak at a forum focused on the development of the region comprised of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand (CLMVT).

The theme for the CLMVT Forum in 2016 is focused on creating shared prosperity among these neighboring markets.

In his presentation to the forum, Mr. Hua will present Booking.com’s insights about the latest trends in digital tourism in South East Asia and CLMVT. Mr. Hua will also discuss how Thai and CLMV accommodation owners and managers can seize new digital opportunities in the tourism and travel industry. Booking.com’s data driven approach and customer-oriented platform has become a highly cost-effective marketing channel to connect to travelers worldwide with the full range of unique places to stay in the CLMVT region.

The CLMVT Forum 2016 will take place in Bangkok during 16-18 June while the luncheon talk by Mr. Hua will be on 17 June. The Forum will gather top business people, entrepreneurs, high-level policy makers and leading academics across the CLMVT region.
