Fasten your seatbelt as The Grand Tour drives onto your screen

Controversial yet entertaining, our favourite motoring pundits will be back on our screens very shortly under the guise of ‘The Grand Tour’. Hammond, May and Clarkson return via Amazon Prime on November 18th and the infamous trio are set to shock and surprise. As the 12-part series follows the group around the globe, why not take a grand tour yourself?, the world-leader in connecting travellers with awesome accommodation, has looked at the team’s filming destinations and compiled the best places for you to stay so that you can relive their glorious motoring moments.

Southern California

One of the early shows of the first series has already been filmed in the desert of Southern California. The opening sequence for the new show is reportedly the most expensive on TV and cost the production company a whopping £2.5million. For accommodation on a slightly smaller budget, try the luxurious Westin Desert Willow Villas. This self-catered accommodation in Palm Desert features your own private villa and a shared outdoor pool – it’s the perfect place to relax after some intense desert touring.
