Kolkata witnesses a higher hike in bookings during Durga Puja when compared to the festive period last year. While analyzing the data at hand, Booking.com further outlines the nationalities visiting Kolkata during the festival and their accommodation preferences.

Bangladesh, China and the United Kingdom, have emerged as the top three nationalities visiting Kolkata this Durga puja. China which was 7th among the top 10 visiting nationalities last year, has moved up to become the 2nd most visiting nationality this year. Travellers from New Zealand, South Africa and Canada found themselves on the top 10 list of travellers visiting Kolkata this season.
