Booking.com research earlier revealed that 79%* of US travelers consider beautiful natural scenery to be an important factor when deciding on a destination, and Fall serves as the perfect time of year to do so. With a mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world, Booking.com has selected some of the most stunning locations across the globe, endorsed by travelers**, to absorb the crisp air and vibrant colors of Fall if it’s safe and responsible to do so.

San Carlos, Argentina

The gorgeous city of San Carlos lies in Argentina's Patagonia region and is a popular spot for exploring the surrounding Lake District. If you visit during Fall, you will be treated to an idyllic palette of colours, with the landscape painted in an array of greens, yellows, oranges and reds.

In order to participate in this survey, respondents had to be 18 years of age or older, had to have traveled at least once in the past 12 months and be either the primary decision maker or involved in the decision making of their travel. The survey was taken online and took place in November 2020.
