It’s not surprising that floating breakfast has become a popular trend among travelers. According to Booking.com research, a quarter (28%)** of Americans travelers agree that the accommodation facilities, including swimming pool and food services, are important factors that help them decide where to stay while on vacation. Also, over a quarter (27%)** of US travelers think that breakfast delivered to their room is a very important feature of an accommodation for an enjoyable stay. Booking.com search data even shows that “breakfast included” was the top filter used in searches so far this year. In order to participate in this survey, respondents had to be 18 years of age or older, had to have traveled at least once in the past 12 months and be either the primary decision maker or involved in the decision making of their travel. The survey was taken online and took place in November 2020.
