Booking.com reveals favourite domestic and international landmarks by Indian travellers

Booking.com, the digital travel leader connecting travellers with the widest choice of unique places to stay, has today revealed top domestic and international landmarks of the Indian travellers. The list is based on the landmark reviews left by travellers from India from January 2018 to March 2019 and the destinations were ranked by the average review score.

When looking at the insights derived by the data analysts at Booking.com, the top domestic landmarks for Indian travellers range from the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, the Mysore Palace in Mysore to Sarath in Varanasi. Also when it comes to domestic landmarks, temples and historical monuments were among the top favourites for Indians. While looking at the top international landmarks for the Indian travellers, The Kremlin in Moscow, Dam Square in Amsterdam, St. Peter's Basilica in Roma, Oxford Street in London and Fewa Lake in Pokhara were among the popular landmarks that took the crown.

Favourite global landmarks reviewed by global travellers include Palace Square in St Petersburg, Main Market Square in Krakow, Douro River in Porto, Old Town Square in Prague and Duomo Milan.
