Booking.com champions extraordinary partners in its second annual #BookingHero Competition

OCTOBER 2, 2018 — Today Booking.com, the global leader in connecting travellers with the widest choice of incredible places to stay, announces the launch of its second annual #BookingHero competition. The first year saw hundreds of nominations highlighting the incredible work individuals at properties across the world are doing to create truly unique travel experiences for their customers. To continue their work in rewarding and championing partners who are creating unforgettable holidays, Booking.com is again inviting customers to show their appreciation and nominate a hero.

To nominate a #BookingHero and enter the competition, Booking.com customers simply need to share their story on Facebook or Instagram and make sure to include the following information:

  1. Where they stayed on their Booking.com trip
  2. The first name of their #BookingHero and (if relevant) their role at the property
  3. How the #BookingHero went above and beyond
  4. The #BookingHero hashtag and if on Instagram, tag @bookingcom

The most touching #BookingHero story and the customer who nominated them will win €25k to spend on Booking.com and the two runners-up and their nominating customers will each win €5k in Booking.com travel credit.

“Travel isn’t just about exploring beautiful new destinations, it’s also about the incredible people you meet along the way and the unique experiences that you share together,” said Olivier Grémillon, Vice President at Booking.com.

“Our accommodation partners make travel magic happen on a daily basis. Whether it’s that extra personal touch or going above and beyond to transform someone’s trip, they are the real Booking Heroes. We are so inspired - and humbled - by the extraordinary dedication and commitment they exhibit every day.”

Booking.com is accepting nominations on Facebook and Instagram until 31 October, 2018. Winners will be announced in January 2019.
