From the many impressive castles and museums to tasteful galleries and cosy cafes, you will be able to sense Enniskillen’s unique character and special atmosphere everywhere you go.

Where to stay: After a long day of exploring, guests should check in to Lough Erne Resort to unwind and relax. This 5-star luxury resort boasts 2 championship golf courses, a Thai spa, an infinity pool, and all rooms include luxurious furnishings and offer lake views. What’s more? The surrounding 400 acres of grounds including walking and jogging trails, so guests can take full advantage of its stunning setting.

Fort Augustus, Highlands

Situated on the most southern tip of Loch Ness on the Great Glen Way, this historic and scenic hamlet offers jaw-dropping views and is a much visited destination. Seen as a paradise for avid walkers and cyclists, due to its many stunning routes and how it overlooks Loch Ness, Fort Augustus is not short on beauty or heritage. The wonderful countryside can be viewed in all its glory whilst cruising down Loch Ness (and trying to spot the famous monster of course!)

Where to stay: Overlooking the locks, the cosy Lock Chambers offers an ideal central location and even welcomes your four legged friends. With modern design and comfortable settings, this property is ideal for those that are keen to explore Fort Augustus by foot or bike, with vast storage facilities also available.

Kirkwall, Orkney

Set in the Orkney Islands off of Scotland’s north coast, Kirkwall is rich with ancient Norse history. The friendly locals will make travellers feel immediately at home, with their relaxed island lifestyle. Visitors can enjoy some of the most spectacular landscapes in the UK, embrace the fresh Orkney air and find comfort in never being short of things to do. So whether it’s a cultural escape in Viking heritage or an adventure out in the wilderness experiencing local wildlife and fantastic walks, this beautiful town has an abundance to offer.

This property also works with local businesses to provide the most fresh ingredients for its restaurant as well as local ales and whiskies.

Frome, Somerset

There’s no place like Frome in this charming Somerset market town. Frome’s thriving art and food scenes can be truly experienced on the first Sunday of every month when the entire town transforms into a giant market, celebrating Frome’s heritage. Travellers can take a stroll down the picturesque cobbled lanes, wander through the independent shops, visit a cosy cafe or even stop off for a much needed drink in one of its many quirky pubs.

Where to stay: Built all the way back in 1604, Rook Lane House’s guests have reviewed this property as a home away from home. Where to stay: Located on the Isle of Man, in Douglas’s Marina, Waterfront Apartments is only a stone’s throw away from the bay and hence highly rated for its location. Guests can kick back in this self-catered property and enjoy some peace and quiet whilst also having reassurance that they are only a short walk away from all the action!
